USS Constellation (1797) 📖 Wikipedia

USS Constellation adalah sebuah fregat berlapiskan kayu dengan 38 meriam yang dimiliki oleh Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat.

Kapal tersebut dibangun di bawah arahan David Stodder di galangan kapal The Joseph dan Samuel Sterett di Harris Creek di komunitas kemaritiman Fell's Point Baltimore, dan diluncurkan pada 7 September 1797. Kapal tersebut adalah salah satu dari enam fregat perdana yang konstruksinya adalah Undang-Undang Angkatan Laut 1794 yang telah terotorisasi.
